This is a modern architecture appreciation post;
Built in 1937 by FL Wright for Edgar Kaufmann and his family. This building was one of the first buildings (like this) of its era in America, most commonly known as ‘Falling Water’, located in Mill Run, Pensilvania. The inside of this place was way ahead of its time, and the construction of the outside was based off the owners love of the wooded land in the area. This house was build for the purpose of blending into its surroundings. What a beautiful idea that is.
